Wouldn't it be nice to be able to walk into GP office and say, take my blood and test me for chemicals!

And then you get a nice list or report card with what chemicals you have or don't have in your blood....

The problem is this...

Where do toxins go?

The body is so smart... it knows that the blood vessels are simply not a safe place for poisons.  It hides it and stores it away so that it can handle it better.

That means, it goes into our fatty tissue in our brain, our bones, our fat surrounding our organs and so on...

That also means, serum blood tests are only good for testing acute poisoning episodes (By emergency physicians and toxicologists) but in the world of chronic exposure, us environmental physicians have been using fat biopsies (While they were still available)!

OUCH!

Other options include hair samples and urine tests.

...But they too have their drawbacks, besides being extremely costly.

For one, you might find some toxins in your urine, but are those exactly the ones causing the issue and how do you even detox from it?
